The Unimaginable Floral Fallout of the Lexington Arboretum

So in my last blog, I focused on how Lexington’s main attributes were horse racing and raising, and college basketball. And those things are great. But really, we sort of hit the Lexington Arboretum unexpectedly, and it was a very vivid focal point of the trip for me. These images are just of the Arboretum. I find it sort of exciting how excited I am about them. I have always found a challenge in shooting images that are absent of people. I have always shot people and will continue to do so, but there is definite magic to be had in this flora universe. Maybe there just comes a time where someone’s mind is in such a state that it can’t help but click with something so organic and fine. My wife and I traipsed through the trails very gingerly, pointing out the things that would of course be so perfect around our own home. But also, I want to remember, Hayley treats the┬ádetails so specially. She finds the tiniest beautiful things that I think most people might skip past and that is one of the reasons I love to travel with her, and see new things.
